Interface Engineering

With distributed computer systems being increasingly used to solve complex problems, Zircon Software's Interface Engineering division provides software solutions that enable a customer to develop their own systems that will interface with other 3rd party Systems.

Zircon has also recognised the need for independent software tools that simulate, test and certify the interfaces with different 3rd party supplied sub-systems from other vendors.

We work closely with our customers to elicit their interface requirements, design appropriate solutions and deliver tools that provide the required behaviour for their own developments.

Where legacy systems are integrated with new and existing systems, Zircon offers the capability of converting from one communications protocol to another so that systems can be integrated seamlessly. Our understanding of distributed systems also enables us to replace an existing legacy sub-system without changing the protocols used to communicate with the rest of the system.

The Interface Engineering division also provides a type-approval capability, which enables us to independently verify 3rd party systems against defined interface criteria and subsequently manage the certification of 3rd party systems for a customer.
