Software Audit

Zircon has received a new contract from a client to carry out an audit of software developed by a 3rd Party.  Our client manages the development contract which is due for renewal in the near future.  Zircon has been asked to undertake an audit to check that:

• the software is sufficiently documented to allow a 3rd party to maintain and further develop the software
• there are no potential issues with regards to IPR that would prevent the transfer of the software development to a 3rd party
• document the scope of information required for a 3rd party to take on the development and support of the software
• and finally, to identify any potential problems that may be faced in transferring the development/support and recommendations on how they may be surmounted.
